For over a decade, Michael Jay served as a dedicated Yoga Studio Owner, of Open Space Yoga embarking on a mission to create not just a studio, but a thriving community hub. Today, that community remains vibrant even after two decades. What started as a vision evolved into a legacy of meaningful connections.
Beyond nurturing community, Michael was resolute in his goal to create a sustainable and profitable venture. This commitment led to a successful transition of the studio to new ownership eight years ago, ensuring its ongoing prosperity.
His collective efforts garnered recognition as the best fitness facility in Delta for an impressive 13-year streak. Alongside this, Michael had the privilege of being awarded the title of Best Entrepreneur of the Year by the local Chamber of Commerce.
During his tenure, he also made a substantial impact beyond the studio's walls, donating over $40,000 to the local hospice society through studio fundraising events.
